392,715 Diapers on Capitol Hill: A Powerful Display of Life in Action

On the weekend commemorating the anniversary of Roe v. Wade’s reversal, nearly 400,000 diapers were placed on Capitol Hill as part of the “Nation’s Largest Diaper Drive & RALLY,” hosted during the National Celebrate Life Weekend. The display wasn’t just visually powerful — it sent a message that the pro-life movement isn’t only about what we oppose, but what we boldly stand for.
See the Fox & Friends interview with Sarah Gabel Seifert & Student's for Life President Kristan Hawkins.
At the heart of the event stood 392,715 EveryLife diapers, representing every pre-born life lost to abortion at Planned Parenthood last year.
“Because this movement isn’t just about standing against abortion—it’s about what we stand for,” said Sarah Gabel Seifert, president and co-founder of EveryLife. “We stand for women. We stand for children. We stand for LIFE. And we don’t just talk about it, right? We act on it.”
The diaper donation was made possible thanks to our generous EveryLife and Public Square communities, LiveAction, and America's Christian Credit Union -- along with the pro-life organizations who hosted the Celebrate Life Weekend weekend. EveryLife was honored to supply the premium diapers for the display — an effort that visibly demonstrated the heart of the movement: compassion in action.
“This Diaper Drive is a living, breathing display of that truth,” Seifert continued. “It declares to the world that the pro-life movement provides, and protects, and shows up in love for mothers who need support.”
Following the event, the diapers were distributed to churches, pregnancy resource centers, and families in need. Those seeking support were able to request specific sizes and quantities online — turning the Capitol Hill display into tangible help for real families across the country.
Quoting Proverbs 31:8, Seifert reminded those gathered: “‘Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.’ This is our holy mandate.”
She closed with a challenge and a prayer: “Let’s be a generation that chooses life, champions family, and leaves a legacy of hope. We are the pro-life generation, and we will abolish abortion.”
The event marked a historic moment — not just as the largest diaper giveaway in U.S. history, but as a bold and beautiful witness to what it truly means to be pro-life.
At EveryLife, we were proud to be part of this display of purpose, provision, and unwavering hope.
