That bold belief is what launched #PrayingForMoreBabies2025 — a global prayer initiative rooted in the truth that children are a blessing: our hope, our legacy, our future.
And today, we’re rejoicing. Since March of this year, 800+ pregnancies and adoptions have already been confirmed through this initiative. Each one is a miracle. Each one is a story only God could write.
Why We Pray for More Babies
The need is clear. Fertility rates around the world are falling.
In the U.S., the fertility rate has dropped to 1.599 — well below the replacement level of 2.1. While part of the decline reflects a cultural shift away from valuing children, that’s not the whole story. All across the globe, there are countless couples aching for a child of their own.
In fact, 1 in 6 worldwide experience infertility. Behind that number are real people with real heartbreak: the weight of waiting, the sting of unanswered prayers, the deep ache of empty arms.
At EveryLife, we felt called to respond — not with statistics, not with platitudes, but with prayer.
A Global Movement of Prayer
In March 2025, we opened a 30-day window for married couples longing for children to share their names and stories with us. The response was overwhelming: more than 7,700 couples from 58 countries entrusted us with their prayer requests.
Since then, every single name has been prayed for personally by the EveryLife team and our prayer partners.
