Leading Without Compromise: A Q&A with Sarah Gabel Seifert on Business, Faith & Family

Leading Without Compromise: A Q&A with Sarah Gabel Seifert on Business, Faith & Family

Our founder and CEO, Sarah Gabel Seifert, recently took the stage at the 2026 Purpose Summit, sharing the lineup with executives from companies like Mercedes-Benz, Chick-fil-A, and Coca-Cola Consolidated.

Her keynote focused on what building EveryLife has taught her about conviction, excellence, and leading without compromise.

Her message:

“The goal isn’t simply to build a bigger business. It’s to build a business that becomes bigger in its impact without becoming smaller in its convictions.”

But the convictions Sarah spoke about on that stage aren't just how she leads EveryLife. They're who she is. She lives them out every day at home, at church, and with her friends and family.

We asked you to send in your questions, and Sarah sat down with us to answer them, from building a business to building a family.

Building a Business Rooted in Faith

What’s your “why”? What made you start EveryLife, and what keeps you going?

My girls. I want them to grow up in a world where life and family are celebrated, protected, and prioritized. Building a company that stands boldly for those values is one way I can fight for what matters most.

I'm also deeply motivated by the women and families we serve through pregnancy resource centers. Knowing there are moms who are choosing life in incredibly difficult circumstances, and that EveryLife can come alongside them with tangible support, is what keeps me going.

What’s the best part of your job?

Without a doubt, my team and the families we get to serve. I love working alongside people who genuinely believe in what we're building and seeing how our products make a meaningful difference in the lives of parents and their babies.

How does your faith shape the decisions you make for EveryLife?

My faith shapes absolutely everything we do at EveryLife. God is the inspiration behind every marketing idea, impact initiative, partnership, and improvement we make.

We're doing this all for Him and unto Him. There's nothing we do that isn't filtered through our faith in Christ and a desire to honor Him. At the end of the day, our greatest goal is to make His name known above every other name.

What was the hardest moment in building EveryLife, and what got you through it?

There have been so many setbacks and challenges that come with building and scaling a startup, but one moment I'll never forget was preparing to leave for the March for Life with my one-year-old.

I had been working nonstop leading up to the event and hadn't even had time to pack. I remember being up until 3 a.m., trying to get everything ready, and just breaking down. In that moment, the weight of everything I was carrying finally caught up with me.

I felt like I was failing at juggling it all — being a wife, a mom, leading a company, and trying to show up well in every area of my life.

I remember praying and asking God to help me because I genuinely didn't feel like I had anything left to give. And He met me there. He gave me the strength and grace I needed to keep moving forward.

That moment reminded me that I'm not called to do any of this in my own strength.

How do you know when something is a calling versus just an opportunity?

I believe a calling comes from God, and with it comes a heavenly peace and grace to say yes, even when it's uncomfortable or doesn't make sense on paper.

An opportunity might look exciting or appealing, but a calling requires obedience. Sometimes God calls us into things that stretch us far beyond what we think we're capable of, but He also provides the grace to walk them out.

How do you define success now compared to 10 years ago?

Success looks very different to me today. It's showing up every day and giving my best, even after being up all night with babies. It's learning when to say no so that my yes can be more intentional and impactful.

It's also knowing that we're making a real difference for families and influencing culture with a message that's unapologetically pro-life and pro-family.

And I think one of the most beautiful things about building EveryLife is seeing that leading with your values doesn't have to come at the expense of success. In fact, those values can be the very thing that drives it.

Motherhood, Faith & Finding Balance

With everything you manage, how do you prioritize your time? What does “balance” really look like for you?

When I first started EveryLife, it was really tempting to let my priorities get out of order. I was so passionate about building the brand that there were definitely seasons when I didn't get this right.

But I've learned even deeper through building EveryLife, that my relationship with God and my family always have to come first. When those priorities get out of alignment, everything else feels off.

Another thing I've learned is how important community is. In the early days of building EveryLife, I wasn't very intentional about making time for friendships and community. People say it's lonely at the top, and there's a lot of truth to that. Sometimes you don't even realize how isolated you've become until you're in the middle of it.

This year, I've been much more proactive about investing in those relationships because we simply weren't created to do life alone.

Balance, for me, isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about keeping the most important things in their rightful place.

Was there ever a season you bought into the hustle or “girl boss” mindset? What changed?

For me, it's always been about impact, not status or personal gain.

I've certainly experienced seasons of working incredibly hard and probably pushing myself beyond what was healthy, but the motivation was never about building a name for myself or chasing a title.

I've always wanted to build something that matters, honors God, and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Do you ever feel mom guilt? How do you handle it?

Oh, absolutely. Mom guilt is so real.

And I think that's why, if you choose to work while raising children, it's so important to have a clear “why” and a genuine sense of calling behind what you're doing.

There are sacrifices that come with it, and I don't think we should pretend otherwise. For me, knowing that God has called me to this work helps me navigate those moments while continually evaluating whether I'm keeping my family first.

What do you hope your kids learn from watching you build EveryLife?

I hope they learn that standing boldly for your values matters, even when it's unpopular or uncomfortable.

More than anything, I want them to see that saying yes to God and walking in obedience to Him is what we're called to do. I hope they grow up knowing that their faith isn't just something they believe — it's something they live out in every area of their lives.

What’s something about your everyday life that people don’t see online?

How much I genuinely love being a mom.

I talk about motherhood often, but people don't necessarily see all the little things that fill my extra time — planning birthdays, preparing for holidays, doing crafts with my girls, finding intentional ways to disciple them, and creating special memories together.

Those moments bring me so much joy. My girls are everything to me, and being their mom is my highest calling.

What would you say to a woman who’s afraid marriage and children will hold her back?

Don't believe that lie.

God created marriage and designed women with the incredible ability to carry and nurture life. These are beautiful gifts, not obstacles to becoming who we're meant to be.

I think our culture has convinced so many women that marriage and motherhood will somehow limit their potential, when in reality, they can be among the most fulfilling and transformative parts of our lives.

Embrace those gifts rather than pushing them away out of fear that you'll miss out on something else.

What’s your advice for a mom who has an idea for a company but doesn’t know where to start?

Pray. A lot!

Seek godly counsel, build a thoughtful business plan, and really count the cost. Understand not only what you're taking on, but also what you may be giving up in the process.

Most importantly, ask yourself two questions: Is this what God is calling me to do? And is this what's best for my family in this season?

Just because you can do something doesn't always mean it's what you're called to do right now.

A Little More About Sarah Gabel

Of course, we couldn't let Sarah Gabel go without asking a few fun questions. From her childhood dreams to her favorite mom hacks, here's a little more about the woman behind EveryLife.

Your double first name is so unique. What’s the story behind it?

I'm a Southern girl at heart! My grandmother's name was Sarah, and my great-grandmother's name was Gabel. So it's a special family name that carries a lot of meaning for me.

What’s your favorite Bible verse, and why?

Isaiah 40:31 — it's a verse that has carried me through so many different seasons of life. It's a reminder of God's faithfulness and the strength He provides when we need Him most.

What’s your love language?

Acts of service and quality time!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A Broadway star!

What’s the one mom hack you swear by?

Ice on an airplane! It provides so much entertainment for little ones and gives them something to chew or suck on during takeoff and landing, which can help with ear pressure.

And homemade fruit popsicles! I make smoothies, pour them into popsicle molds, and freeze them. My girls think they're getting the best treat ever, but really, it's just a smoothie. Such an easy mom win!
