Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to join Daily Wire's Isabel Brown Show for the second time — this time alongside Dr. Christina Francis, CEO of AAPLOG (the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists), our partners in the ReThink Pregnancy campaign. Together, we got to share what this campaign is really about, why we built it, and why the medical community's voice is so essential to changing the conversation around pregnancy.
At the heart of this campaign is a simple but powerful mission: to challenge the cultural narrative surrounding pregnancy and motherhood and replace fear, shame, and misinformation with truth, hope, beauty, and science-backed education.
During our conversation, we dove into the overwhelming cultural messaging young people are receiving today — messages that portray pregnancy as something burdensome, limiting, inconvenient, or even harmful. These narratives are everywhere: social media, entertainment, modern sex education, and even mainstream media articles that suggest pregnancy should be avoided at all costs. Over time, these ideas shape how women and men view family, marriage, motherhood, and even their own futures.
Dr. Francis shared incredible medical insight and science-based evidence surrounding the remarkable biological design of pregnancy and the many benefits women experience physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout pregnancy. Through the ReThink Pregnancy campaign, women and families will have access to compelling videos, articles, and testimonies from mothers who have personally experienced the beauty and transformation that pregnancy can bring.
I also opened up personally about how these cultural lies can affect all of us — even those raised in conservative, faith-based homes like myself. Looking back, I realized that subconsciously I had absorbed many of the same fears and misconceptions culture promotes. I shared how easily outside influences can shape our perspectives and decisions without us even realizing it.
One of the most powerful parts of the conversation was discussing what actually changed for me when I became pregnant. I experienced a level of purpose, peace, and fulfillment unlike anything I had ever known before. I naturally began caring for my body differently because I felt the responsibility and privilege of nurturing another life. My health improved, my mental health improved, and my priorities shifted in ways that felt deeply instinctual and life-giving. It wasn’t something forced — it was the incredible biological and emotional transformation happening within me as my body adapted to motherhood.
This conversation goes far beyond diapers and baby products. It’s about culture. It’s about the future of families. It’s about helping women pause long enough to thoughtfully consider the kind of life they truly want and whether the narratives they’ve accepted are actually leading them toward fulfillment.
We also discussed:
-
The cultural lies surrounding motherhood and family
-
The growing fear-based messaging around pregnancy
-
Mainstream media narratives discouraging motherhood
-
The abortion pill now being marketed under the term “period pill”
-
How modern sex education often introduces shame and fear around our bodies
-
Why strong families are foundational to a strong nation
This was one of those conversations I'll carry with me. Honest, eye-opening, and long overdue. I truly believe ReThink Pregnancy has the potential to shift something real in our culture — and I hope after watching, you do too.
